It was between 2013 and 2014 that I gradually realized that I needed to take a closer look at the relationships between image and language, if I wanted to understand how the painting, the line and the color inscribe in the perception.
That considering not only the artistic field, but also the visual everyday life perception.
I began this approach empirically, keeping to the actual painting, but this method of work has gone beyond the field of the traditional abstract image, and prompted me to become interested in the volume, as an extension to my possibilities of understanding.
It gradually became apparent to me during the work that it is sometimes necessary to exasperate or disappoint expectations that one might believe to belong to an imaginary public.
That is to say, to situate himself as an artist not only at the center of a production of laudable and salable goods, but that it is necessary to establish a real, dynamic dialogue with this imaginary visitor, and sometimes also to annoy him in order to wake up oneself.
In other words, one must be able to analyze one's impressions in order to translate them in the best possible way.
Which means that a certain degree of controversy is not absent from the work.
